December is at the door, and it is time to start preparing for Christmas and, why not, to decorate the Christmas tree. So what would you say this year to choosing a natural tree in a pot? A real tree will give the home a fresh green fragrance and bring the countryside inside. It is also an ecological and at the same time economical solution, since the tree will remain with you and will decorate the veranda or garden for the coming years. There are many choices, and in fact, among the suggestions that follow, you may recognize a plant you already have at home.
The best choices, as we found them on diytv, are the Normandy fir, which keeps very well all year round as long as it is placed in a north-facing spot; the picea, which is also a very beautiful plant for Christmas decoration; the Apollo laurel, from which the decoration of the Christmas tree began; the gold crest, a coniferous and evergreen tree with aromatic leaves that can be decorated very beautifully; and another very nice idea is ilex mistletoe, which does not need ornaments because it is already decorated by itself. To get to know the plants and learn their characteristics and the conditions for keeping them, watch the video.

Very nice suggestions for a Christmas tree are also the Atlas cedar, which has a distinctive blue color, and the Lebanon cedar, which is deep green. The yew is also a tree that can be decorated very beautifully, as are the thuja and Leyland. (see the video)
