Inspired by Greekness and using a motto from the 1970s, greece is for lovers was born in 2005.

The team consists of Thanos Karampatsos and Christina Kotsilelou, both of whom studied product design in London.

With plenty of humour, irony and a dose of truth, they satirise themselves as Greeks and transfer all this into everyday objects.

What would you say to a flowerpot-ashtray that lets you drop your ash into the plant, a Greek habit, but not the cigarette butt?

iPod cases crocheted by hand, complete with tassel?

A candle in the form of Aphrodite of Milos or Hermes of Praxiteles?

Doric-style exercise dumbbells?

Hang the ORA curtain and, by looking at the steps, you will learn the tsamiko or the kalamatiano.

In other words, Greece in all its glory.
