As we have already mentioned in an earlier article, the internet now has more and more followers, since its use in our everyday life is becoming increasingly necessary. Hundreds of thousands of investors have invested in the internet and in the possibilities it can offer people and businesses, mainly with the aim of simplifying our daily lives. Through coordinated work, new applications and search engines have been developed, and with their use we can find almost everything, from a location to rare knowledge in books. A very smart and useful engine is ask.com. It is nothing more than a search engine, though not like Google. Ask.com is based on users’ questions and on the answers other users give to the relevant question. In this way anyone can find the answer they want free of charge on any subject, directly and, above all, quickly. In essence there is no limit on topics, because literally any question you may have can be answered. It was created in 1996 by Garrett Gruener and David Warthen in Berkeley, California, but it did not have its current form from the beginning. In mid-2010, because of strong competition from Google, it acquired, fortunately for us users, its current identity. Of course, many envied the idea and tried to absorb it into their own search engines in various ways, but none managed to gather the interest and, of course, the valuable contribution of so many hundreds of thousands of users so as to become a strong competitor. But let us see a little how it works. The basic requirement for asking a question, or answering existing ones, is to create an account with which you will have, so to speak, a face in the community and a virtual identity. The account creation process is very simple; the only things requested are an email, a username and a password. Then you can enter your question in the appropriate field, and it may include any question you have. Since the answers are given by ordinary users, as you will be too, but users with knowledge of the subject asked about, you can be sure that the answer you receive will be useful. When you submit your question, there is also a field if you want to make your question more specific, as well as a field to categorize the topic. From experience I can tell you that you will not need to wait long for an answer. A few minutes later you will also be notified by email that your question has been answered. Of course, you should always expect more than one answer, since all users are able to reply. If you are not satisfied with the answers you received, the right side of your page shows a list of questions similar to yours, which, because they are older, will surely offer you more knowledge on the subject. I would strongly suggest, if of course you have a little extra free time, that you browse through other users’ questions and the individual answers they have received, which will at the very least give you additional knowledge. Naturally, you can choose a subject category according to your interests and, why not, answer some questions if you have the necessary knowledge. Because we should not forget that ask.com is alive thanks to the hundreds of thousands of users from around the world who share their knowledge. So, Ask.com. We found it and recommend it without reservation... Happy searching…
